Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), also known as quince or nightshade, is a plant with thin leaves and white flowers. Harvested seasonally, yarrow is dried in the shade at low temperatures to preserve its natural flavor. This traditional method preserves the plant's distinctive aroma, light green color, and natural scent. The 200-gram package is an ideal size for regular use or herbal blends.
Naturally dried yarrow contains no additives, preservatives, or dyes. The drying process preserves the essential oils in the plant's leaves and flowers, giving the product its distinctive, slightly herbaceous scent and aromatic flavor. Dried, it's suitable for both brewing and decorative purposes.
Yarrow is often used as an herbal tea. When steeped in hot water, it takes on a pale yellow color and offers a slightly earthy, aromatic flavor. It can be brewed alone or combined with other herbs such as mint, chamomile, or linden. It is also used in potpourri mixtures and natural decorative arrangements to add a pleasant scent and appearance.
